Via Del Corso – Caffe & Pasticceria

Sharper Marketing worked to strengthen the branding for food retailer, Via Del Corso, Italian dessert bar in Sydney CBD.

Alessandro Fuscaldo is a successful proprietor and operator of a number of casual Italian eateries in Sydney’s CBD defined the concept. He had the vision to create the sophisticated dessert bar, to cater to the desires of thousands of city folk who needed a sweet to break their work day.

But the dessert bar was being ‘missed’ on the ‘food floor’ in Westfield. With the Italian designed white counters it was easy for people to pass by the sophisticated bar.

He was becoming frustrated by the business performance.

“I approached Sharper Marketing with the main objectives of increasing sales for Via del Corso. To commence the project, we spent a day together, looking at the marketing strategy that was in place for my brand and considered the competition. Lindi came back to me with a Strategy Roadmap outlining three key objectives.”.

Sharper Marketing worked closely with their retail designers & partners to increase the brand’s visibility on the Westfield Sydney floor.  This involved shaping the Italian brand identify around the romanticism of the dolci offerings. She also wanted to communicate other products to the market, like espresso, gelato & Italian crepe’s. Sharper Marketing achieved this goal working within the design constraints specified by Westfield Sydney, which is no easy task”.
